City of Perth presents Café Jazz and Laneway Swing.

The sounds of rockabilly blues, smooth jazz and retro swing will permeate the city from 5 to 7 August as part of the City of Perth’s Café Jazz and Laneway Swing.

Jazz will return to the streets this winter with the City of Perth’s Café Jazz and Laneway Swing this August. The weekend will feature mini jazz and rockabilly concerts in laneways, cafes, shops, arcades and small venues across the city.

Perth’s retro songbird Harry Deluxe and her Rockabilly band will headline the event with three free public performances in Grand Lane, Shafto Lane and Globe Lane.

In addition, Perth’s small bars, cafes and retail spaces will also play host to a range of Perth jazz musicians over the three day event.

As well as providing West Australians with a rocking good time, Café Jazz and Laneway Swing will encourage people to explore some of the smaller venues emerging in our city’s tucked away spaces.
